家の中にいつの間にか増えてくるモノ。
モノが増えるとどこから手を付ければいいのか分からなくなってしまいますよね。
今回の記事では、簡単にできるモノの減らし方をご紹介したいと思います。
まずは全部モノを床に広げる
モノを片付ける時に、一つ一つ出しながら、「要るモノと要らないモノ」を仕分けする人が多いと思います。
でもこれだと、途中で飽きてきてやめてしまったり、懐かしいモノが出てくると思い出にふけってしまって、時間ばかりが過ぎてゆきます。
結局途中でやめて、また次にしよう…となってしまいます。
それに対して、まずは全部床に広げれば、途中でやめるわけには行かないので、自然と片づけられるようになります。
要るモノと要らないモノはルールを決める
床に広げた後は、「要るモノと要らないモノ」を区別するルールを決めることです。
私の場合、1年以内に使ったモノと使わなかったモノをルールとして決めています。
あと、思い出にふけらないこと。
一つずつ手に取ったら、3秒以内に判断して、1年以内に使ったモノは右に、使わなかったモノは左に置きます。
すると、意外と短時間に仕分けすることができます。
思い出のモノは思い出ボックスで！
誰にでも思い出のモノがあるはずです。
特に子どもたちの思い出のモノは捨てられるはずがありません。
もちろん、このような思い出のモノを捨てる必要はありません。
保管する際は、これら思い出のモノだけを入れる収納箱、名付けて「思い出ボックス」を作ることをおススメします。
ただし、思い出ボックスをどんどん増やしてしまうと、またモノが増えてゆきますので、一度思い出ボックスを作ったら、その数を増やさないということが前提となります。
そして、時々思い出ボックスの中身を見直す必要があります。
今はまだ処分できないモノでも、時間が経てば捨てられるモノって案外あるものです。
新しい思い出のモノが増えた分、何か捨てるモノはないか考えて、いつも思い出ボックスの中身が増えないようにすべきです。

どうしてもモノが増えて、収納場所に困った場合は、段ボール1個から預けられるトランクルームなどを活用して、シンプルで快適な空間を作るようにしましょう。
